UPCOMING: SPEAC webinar on electrical product safety requirements comparison in US, EU and China will be organized on 25 May 2022

In cooperation with the Ningbo Customs District Technology Center (NCTC) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission of the United States (CPSC), this SPEAC webinar will be organized at 19:00-20:30 (Beijing Time) on 25 May 2022.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Regulatory and standards framework in US, EU, and China
  • Conformity assessment in the three jurisdictions
  • Recalls in the three jurisdictions
  • Standards in the three jurisdictions and how to find them

The webinar will be moderated by SPEAC Team Leader, Dr. Gerhard Weihs, the training presentation will be delivered by SPEAC senior expert Torben Rahbek and Deng Yun, as well as CPSC International Programs Office Director Richard W. O’Brien. The experts will also answer the questions from participants.

Participants, who answers the online quiz questions and provides the email address, will get the webinar certificate issued jointly by SPEAC, NCTC and CPSC.

SPEAC finder

Knowledge hub on key product safety requirements, with a smart search engine on internal database (repository of information) and externally such as on the EU legal database and the information about the RAPEX system.

The SPEAC finder is under construction and will be online tentatively in the first half 2022!

SPEAC Academy

Everything you need to know about EU product safety and that you can learn online at your own pace, on your own, in a structured way. Feel free to build your own curriculum and select the modules of interest from the offer, according to your needs. This comes in addition to the direct training formats.
