The sixth joint webinar of SPEAC with the Zhejiang Institute of Standardization (ZIS) on “EU Product Safety Rules” will be conducted at 15:00-16:30 (Beijing Time) on 27 May 2022.

After on overall introduction on EU product safety and consumer rights the SPEAC experts will answer frequently asked questions regarding the following topics:

• What are the commonly found safety problems with electrical appliances?
• How to conduct a conformity assessment?
• How to assess the conformity of a product when there is no distinct harmonized standard available? and
• More frequently asked questions

The webinar will be moderated by SPEAC Team Leader, Dr. Gerhard Weihs, the training presentations will be delivered by SPEAC key expert John Lawrance and SPEAC senior experts Mark Gardiner and Torben Rahbek. The experts will also answer questions from participants.

Participants, who answers the online quiz questions and provides the email address, will get the webinar certificate issued jointly by SPEAC and ZIS.
