From March 29th to April 3rd, the SPEAC project organised a series of offline training workshops in Guangdong province. The workshops, delivered by senior expert Geraldine Cosh and key expert Liu Kaiming covered multiple topics, such as the European Union’s General Product Safety Rules and safety requirements for toys, childcare products, children’s clothing, textiles, garments, electronics, and appliances. With support from local Chinese partners in both public and private sectors, the training events received great participation and appreciation from many attending trainees. This training series reflects SPEAC’s ongoing commitment to educating Chinese stakeholders on the importance of complying with EU rules for exporting to the EU market.
