International Product Safety Week 2026 in Brussels, 7–10 Sep 2026

SPEAC is delighted to invite you to join the 2026 International Product Safety Week, taking place in Brussels from 7–10 September 2026. This flagship event is organised by the European Commission.

Since 2006, International Product Safety Week has brought together regulators, international organisations, industry representatives, consumer organisations, academics, and other stakeholders from around the world to discuss the most pressing product safety challenges. Marking its 20th anniversary, the 2026 edition will be held under the theme “Product safety in motion.”

As consumer markets become increasingly digitalised, new opportunities and challenges continue to emerge, making IPSW an important platform for exchanging experiences, discussing solutions, and shaping the future of product safety. The programme will address key product safety priorities, including international cooperation, the implementation of the UN Principles on Consumer Product Safety, the evolving e-commerce landscape, product safety in the digital economy, enforcement cooperation, digital tools for market surveillance, child safety, and future perspectives for global product safety. The event will feature a range of interactive sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and flash talks, including a joint workshop with UN Trade and Development.
