On April 11th, the SPEAC Project organised its Annual Forum in Hangzhou, featuring a comprehensive half-day training session in collaboration with the GACC International Inspection and Quarantine Standards and Technical Regulations Research Center. The objective of the training event was to inform Chinese participants about the latest safety regulations governing children’s products and online sales in the European Union, emphasising the importance of compliance when exporting to the EU market. The event witnessed great participation from both online and offline attendees.
Ana Gallego Torres, the Director-General of the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers at the European Commission, and Zhang Zheng, the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Commodity Inspection at the General Administration of Customs of China, delivered the opening remarks.
This event received significant participation and attendance from numerous Chinese partners, representing the continuous commitment of SPEAC Project to strengthen partnerships with Chinese stakeholders to promote product safety and protect consumers.
