Between 19th to 21st of September, the SPEAC team embarked on a mission to Shanghai, engaging with key stakeholders in the region. The purpose of these meetings was to strengthen partnerships and initiate discussions on organising collaborative training activities for the upcoming year.
The stakeholders visited by the SPEAC team, in chronological order, included Amazon China, TUV Austria, GALAB, Jingan District Commission of Commerce, eBay, TIC Council, Shanghai Polytechnic University, and Eurofins.
Throughout the mission in Shanghai, all stakeholders demonstrated a keen interest in establishing a partnership with the SPEAC project. Their shared objective focused on addressing EU product safety concerns and enhancing the capabilities of local economic operators across the entire supply chain. The ultimate goal is to ensure the delivery of safe and compliant products to the EU market.
