Amazon China organized a global webinar, titled as “Cosmetics Export Compliance” in cooperation with, the China Association for Consumer Products Quality and Safety Promotion, the Zhejiang Institute of Standardization, the Hangzhou Cross-border E-commerce Association, and the EU funded SPEAC project. More than 1,500 participants, mainly manufacturers and merchants followed the live webinar or participated on site on 17 August 2022.

China’s cosmetics exports continue to grow, and their product safety gains increasing attention. This webinar analyzed the development of the cosmetics exports, introduced the safety compliance requirements with risk assessment guidance in the major markets of Europe, the United States, and Japan. SPEAC senior product safety expert Dr. Deng Yun introduced the main risks and safety requirements of cosmetics in the EU, and shared practical methods and suggestions.
