SPEAC Participates in the 20th International Product Safety Week in Brussels

From September 7th to 10th, the SPEAC team participated in the 20th edition of International Product Safety Week (IPSW) in Brussels, organised by the European Commission.

This year’s IPSW, themed “Product Safety in Motion”, delves into the growing impact of digitalisation on consumer markets. Key topics included e-commerce, child safety, and how AI and digital tools are shaping market surveillance.

The event has brought together public authorities, consumer organisations, industry representatives, and experts from around the world for three days of meaningful discussions on critical product safety issues.

During IPSW 2026, the SPEAC Project, as an EU-funded initiative, participated with a booth displaying information on its objectives and achievements. Many public and private stakeholders showed strong interest in the project’s role in promoting EU rules on product safety in China, as well as in publicly available resources such as the SPEAC Finder and Academy.
