SPEAC Project and the GACC International Inspection and Quarantine Standards and Technical Regulations Research Centre (STRRC) jointly organised the second Train‑the‑Trainers Programme on EU Product Safety Regulations in Guangzhou between 4 and 7 November 2025.

Designed for senior customs officers, the four‑day training provided updates on the latest EU product safety regulatory developments, China’s quality infrastructure, and cross‑border e‑commerce safety control. The programme combined expert lectures from SPEAC, GACC, and CNAS with interactive sessions on case studies and Train‑the‑Trainer techniques.

Building on the success of the first session in Xiamen, this second edition further strengthened the capacity of Chinese customs officials to apply EU product safety regulations and promote safer, more compliant consumer products on the markets in the European Union and China.
