This seventh webinar with the CHINA TOYS & JUVENILE PRODUCTS ASSOCIATION (CTJPA) was conducted on 17 June 2021. The opening addresses were delivered by EUD Counsellor Orsolya Csorba and CTJPA President Liang May. Moderation was provided by SPEAC Team Leader Gerhard Weihs. Presentations were delivered by SPEAC senior experts Geraldine Cosh and Richard Sargeant. With the direction from SPEAC key expert John Lawrance, the two training experts answered many questions raised by the audiences.
The presentations covered the following topics:
- The system of product recalls
- Responsibilities and corrective actions
- Practical examples and case studies with some introduction of new EU legislations
- Avoiding a recall
The target groups were manufacturers of toys across China. 503 participants attended the event.
