Between 22nd to 23rd of August, the SPEAC team embarked on a mission in Shandong Province (Qingdao and Jinan), engaging with key stakeholders in the region. The purpose of these visits was to gain a deeper understanding of the local business environment, cultivate stronger relationships with the partners and explore opportunities to hold joint training activities.
Among the stakeholders visited were the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Qingdao Sub-Council, CVC Certification & Testing Co., Ltd., Shandong Institute of Standardization (SDIS). During the visits, the SPEAC team introduced the project, its mission, and outlined plans for upcoming training activities. The organisations expressed keen interest in setting up joint training initiatives with SPEAC, highlighting the shared commitment to promote EU safety and compliance rules to the local companies.
As SPEAC continues to expand its collaborative efforts, these visits in Shandong mark an important step in its mission to provide guidance to Chinese manufacturers so that they make sure that they comply with EU product safety rules when exporting products to the EU.
