SPEAC and TIC Council’s Joint Training Held in Shanghai on EU Product Safety

On May 14th, the SPEAC and TIC Council hosted a joint training session in Shanghai, focusing on the European Union’s product safety regulations and e-commerce rules. The event was supported by Amazon and CVC Technical Testing Company. It attracted nearly 100 in-person participants and garnered over 10,000 views through online live streaming.

The training provided participants with valuable insights into the EU’s latest consumer product safety legislation, including the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), and emphasised the critical importance of product compliance in ensuring consumer protection and market access.
