SPEAC and GACC’s Second Joint Training Held in Dongguan: Enhancing Toy Safety and Online Sales Compliance in the EU

On July 18th, the SPEAC Project and the GACC International Inspection and Quarantine Standards and Technical Regulations Research Center, organised a training event in Dongguan. This event marked the second session of the two organisations’ joint training program in China this year.

Overview of the Event Site

The primary objective of the event was to inform Chinese participants on the latest safety regulations governing toy products and online sales in the European Union, underscoring the importance of compliance when exporting to the EU market.

The training received great support from several local partners, including the Division of Commodity Inspection of Huangpu Customs and the Technical Center of Huangpu Customs.

Zheng Shaofeng, Technical Head of Consumer Goods Laboratory of Huangpu Customs, did a training on toy safety.
