In June, the SPEAC team in Beijing welcomed project members from GIZ Germany for a week-long visit. The visit marked the first time the SPEAC team across Europe and China reunited since the COVID pandemic. 

During the visit, the teams held productive meetings to review past results and plan future activities together. We engaged in many meaningful and constructive discussions about the development of the project moving forward, with a commitment to raising Chinese stakeholders’ awareness of EU product safety and consumer protection rules to protect EU consumers.
