From May 30th to June 1st, the SPEAC Team met with several partners in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, to understand local stakeholders’ needs in better understanding EU product safety regulations, collect topics of interests for future SPEAC II training programmes and explore cooperations opportunities. The partners included Ningbo Cixi Bureau of Commerce, Ningbo Customs Technical Centre, Cixi Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, ECER Ningbo and Cixi Good Products Hall. The partners have agreed to continue their cooperation during the 2nd phase of the SPEAC project.
SPEAC II’s Team Leader, Mr Gianluca Ghiara, thanked partners for their support and stressed the importance of partnership for SPEAC. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, SPEAC will provide Chinese stakeholders with up-to-date information regarding EU safety regulations, that they need to comply with when exporting products to the EU.
