Between 15th to 17th of August, the SPEAC team conducted a mission to Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and Chongqing. During the visit, the team engaged with key stakeholders in the region to foster closer relationships and explore potential collaborations.

The stakeholders whom SPEAC visited included Chengdu Institute of Standardization (CDIS), Chongqing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, Chongzhou Furniture Chamber of Commerce, European Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) Southwest Chapter, and European Project Innovation Center (EUPIC).

The meetings served multiple purposes, including introducing SPEAC Phase II and its activities, establishing stronger bonds with stakeholders, seeking new partnership opportunities, and discussing potential joint cooperation during the SPEAC Phase II initiative.

Gianluca Ghiara, Team Leader of SPEAC Phase II, emphasized the importance of adhering to EU regulations when exporting products to the EU Market. Compliance with these regulations is vital for companies aiming to succeed in the European market.
